Prose Wizard’s primary ESL tutor, Dana Crum, has a history of success. Under his tutelage an ESL student from China went from getting D’s on papers to getting A’s. Crum is a Princeton alum with 18 years of experience as a teacher and tutor of English, ESL and creative writing. Horace Mann, Prep for Prep, Ramapo College of New Jersey, the Art Academy of Cincinnati and Virginia Commonwealth University are some of the institutions where he has taught. And he tutors middle-school, high-school, college and graduate students as well as working professionals.
All of our tutors are native speakers of English with substantial teaching experience. They tailor their lessons to fit your needs, interests and learning style. With their guidance, you will improve your speaking, listening, reading and writing. You will not only become fluent but also develop confidence and grow comfortable speaking in public. Your confidence will stem, in part, from knowing that your foreign accent has been replaced by an American accent.
Lessons are conducted in person, or online via Skype and similar applications.
